Sophie Kinsella continues to be one of my favourite writers when it comes to fiction. She strikes again with this fantastic story about a high-powered lawyer in London aiming to get partnership at one of the best firms in the world. Samantha Sweeting has never made an error in her whole career, however because of one *tiny* mistake her whole world turns upside down and inside out. Somehow she ends up getting hired as a housekeeper in the middle of the Cotswolds whilst also not even knowing how to make toast! This book was so funny, cute and inspiring!

This is a great story about resilience and finding who you are as a person. Samantha goes on a new adventure, learning skills she never thought she would master, such as working a washing machine! I really enjoyed getting to know the protagonist and getting immersed into her emotions, thoughts and life events. I also love how the main story is about Samantha’s development with an adorable little love story on the side (I am a hopeless romantic).

I simply couldn’t put this book down! I think I finished it in under 48 hours…therefore, I would highly recommend this book! With fiction books like these I hate giving away the good parts because the surprise is what makes them that much more exciting so unfortunately I will have to stop the review here. However, I think it is clear to say that this book is highly entertaining and addictive so please give it a read and let me know what you think!
